Built for sensitive appraisal workflow.
ASSIST is designed around the realities of appraisal work: borrower data, client communication, assignment confidentiality, written service scope, SMS consent, and clear limits on administrative support.
You stay the appraiser of record. ASSIST organizes the operational workflow around the order.
Written documents. Clear scope. Appraiser control.
ASSIST is built to support the operational work around an appraisal, not replace the appraiser's professional judgment. The documents below explain the legal framework, service boundaries, privacy approach, and SMS consent language behind the workflow.
Master Services Agreement
The MSA sets the legal framework for how ASSIST provides software and optional operations support, including confidentiality, responsibilities, service boundaries, and account terms.
View MSAScope of Services
The Scope of Services defines what ASSIST can and cannot do. It keeps support focused on administrative and logistical workflow — not appraisal judgment, comp selection, value conclusions, or appraisal analysis.
View Scope of ServicesPrivacy Policy
The Privacy Policy explains how ASSIST handles information connected to accounts, workflow, communications, forms, and related services.
View Privacy PolicySMS Consent
The SMS Consent page explains how text messaging is used for workflow communications, scheduling, reminders, review requests, and opt-out handling where applicable.
View SMS ConsentASSIST supports the work around the appraisal — not the appraisal judgment.
Appraisal work has professional boundaries. ASSIST is designed to help with the operational layer: organization, communication, scheduling, follow-up, files, reminders, and rules-based support. The appraiser remains responsible for valuation work and professional decisions.
No valuation judgment
ASSIST does not create appraisal opinions, select comps, determine value, write valuation conclusions, or replace professional judgment.
Written scope
Software + Service support is governed by a written Scope of Services so appraisers know what ASSIST can help with and what stays with the appraiser.
Rules-based support
For Software + Service clients, ASSIST follows the coverage, fee, product, scheduling, client, and escalation rules the appraiser provides. Anything unclear or outside scope comes back to the appraiser.
No phone answering
ASSIST does not answer phone calls on behalf of appraisers. Support is handled through written workflows, system messages, portal updates, email support, and text scheduling where enabled.
Marketplace is not an AMC
ASSIST can help introduce requesters to independent appraisers through the Marketplace, but ASSIST is not an AMC, does not assign appraisal work, and does not take fee splits or commissions.
No guaranteed outcomes
ASSIST helps appraisers stay organized, responsive, visible, and easier to work with. It does not guarantee order volume, revenue, ranking, compliance results, or appraisal outcomes.
Designed around appraisal workflow sensitivity.
Orders, documents, borrower details, property contact information, messages, files, portal-related notes, and client communications can all be sensitive. ASSIST should present this clearly without overclaiming certifications or controls that are not documented.
Confidential order data
Orders, documents, borrower/property contact details, messages, files, and portal-related information are treated as sensitive appraisal workflow data.
Privacy commitments
ASSIST's Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected in connection with the platform and related services.
SMS consent and opt-out
Text workflows are designed to support consent-aware communication, including opt-out language where applicable.
Access tied to workflow need
Software + Service support should be limited to the information needed to provide the approved workflow support. ASSIST should not imply broader access than necessary.
What this means in practice.
- You remain the appraiser of record
- You keep professional control over valuation work
- ASSIST does not select comps, determine value, or draft appraisal analysis
- Software + Service follows your written rules and escalation preferences
- Anything unclear, atypical, risky, or outside scope comes back to you
- Sensitive workflow data is handled according to ASSIST's Privacy Policy and service documents
- Marketplace work stays between the requester and the appraiser
- Review requests support the appraiser's own business, not ASSIST
- SMS workflows include opt-out support where applicable
Marketplace and reputation workflows stay appraiser-owned.
Marketplace introductions
The ASSIST Marketplace is designed to help requesters find independent appraisers by coverage, product type, availability, and profile details. Requesters may select up to three appraisers when there is a match. The appraiser decides whether the request fits their scope, fee, timing, and availability. ASSIST does not assign the work, set the final fee, or take a commission.
Appraiser-owned review requests
Reputation Loop helps the appraiser ask for a review for the appraiser's own appraisal business. The appraiser controls whether to send the request, when to send it, and which Google Business Profile link is used. ASSIST powers the workflow, but the review is not for ASSIST.
