ASSIST was built by Ankit Patel after nearly a decade inside appraisal operations — first in VP-level operations at a national AMC, and later overseeing operations inside an independent appraisal firm.
From both sides of the industry, he saw the same problem: good appraisers were not losing time because they lacked skill. They were losing time because the work around the appraisal had become scattered across inboxes, portals, texts, status requests, scheduling, revisions, expiring orders, documents, fee rules, and follow-ups.
Most tools solved only one small piece of that problem. Some helped with email intake. Some helped with order tracking. Some added another dashboard to check. But the real issue was bigger: appraisers needed one practical operating layer for the work around every order — without giving up control of the appraisal itself.
That is why ASSIST was built.

About the name
AiSo is pronounced "A-so." The name comes from Ankit's children, Aiden and Sofia — the personal reason behind building ASSIST as something practical, human, and lasting for the appraisers who rely on it.
